Type of Work

In this versatile and responsible role, you ensure the smooth and safe operation of the buildings, technical systems and the entire infrastructure. You plan, coordinate and supervise maintenance, servicing and repair work and take on the coordination of external service providers. In addition, you actively participate in conversion, renovation and investment projects and ensure compliance with relevant safety, environmental and legal requirements. The continuous optimisation of infrastructure, operational processes and energy efficiency also forms part of your duties. Furthermore, you support budget planning, take on cost and contract controls and act as the central contact person for internal departments, external partners and authorities. The coordination and management of external service providers as well as the areas of building cleaning and caretaking complete your varied range of tasks.

Requirements Profile

For this position, you have completed a technical basic training, for example in the areas of electrical engineering, HVAC, building automation, construction or facility maintenance, ideally supplemented by further training in facility management. You bring several years of professional experience in technical building operations or facility management as well as good knowledge of building and system technology. Knowledge of relevant safety and environmental regulations as well as experience in project management are advantageous. Good IT user skills, an understanding of budgeting and cost control as well as technical and business management understanding complement your profile.

We are looking for a pragmatic and solution-oriented personality with a pronounced can-do attitude, who enjoys taking responsibility and is willing to get hands-on when necessary. You work independently, reliably and in a structured manner and keep an overview even with several tasks running in parallel.
