- Recording, categorising, and prioritising incidents, service requests, and changes according to ITIL standards and SLA requirements
- Independent handling of standard requests and first-level solutions according to defined processes.
- Escalation of complex or time-critical requests to second-level support and close
collaboration with other specialist departments - Coordination and follow-up of escalations to ensure efficient problem resolution.
- Monitoring all service requests (incidents, service requests, etc.) to maintain service levels and ensure high availability
- Use and continuous maintenance of the knowledge base to provide solutions for recurring problems
- Expansion of the knowledge base through new documented problem solutions to sustainably improve service quality
- Recording and forwarding customer feedback as well as recurring problems to continuously optimise service processes
- Participation in training and further education on ITIL, data centre processes, and new technologies to stay up to date
Your skills
- Completed training
- Experience in service desk or technical customer support is an advantage
- Basic understanding of data centre infrastructure: knowledge of servers, storage solutions, network technology, and racks is an advantage
- Knowledge of incident, service request, and change management according to ITIL (certification is an advantage or willingness to obtain it)
- Analytical and solution-oriented thinking – quick error analysis and structured problem solving
- Customer- and service-oriented communication – professional and friendly even in stressful situations
- Resilience and flexibility
- Teamwork – close collaboration with colleagues and other support levels and adapting to dynamic requirements in the data centre environment
- Fluent German and very good English skills, both spoken and written
