At the Institute of Anatomy of the University of Bern, a lectureship focusing on teaching is to be filled as of October 1, 2025, or by agreement.
The Institute of Anatomy of the University of Bern is part of the Medical Faculty and has a teaching mandate in the degree programs of Human and Dental Medicine as well as Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Biomedical Sciences, Veterinary Medicine, and paramedical training (Physiotherapy, Laboratory Schools, etc.). Ten independent but very cooperatively working research groups conduct biomedical research in the areas of Didactic Morphology, Developmental Biology and Regeneration, Imaging Facility, Lung Biology, Mucociliary Clearance, Micro(angio)-CT, Microscopic Anatomy and Structural Biology, Molecular Neuroinfectiology, Nanotechnology, as well as Angiogenesis and Cancer.
Responsibilities
- Conducting courses in macroscopic anatomy and histology for the degree programs in Human and Dental Medicine
- Supervision of tutorials
- Participation in oral examinations, creation of examination questions
- Possibility of involvement in research projects or submission of own projects
Requirements
- Completed university degree in Human Medicine
- Completed doctorate
- Several years of comprehensive teaching experience in the field of Anatomy
- Enjoyment of teaching and pedagogical skill
- Organizational talent
- Independent, flexible working, reliability, teamwork ability, and sense of responsibility
- German at a native speaker level and very good English skills in spoken and written form
