My name is Jasmin and I am currently the Human Resources Manager at Mercure Zürich City. As the present HR Manager, I can confirm: Those who enjoy varied tasks, teamwork and personal development will feel comfortable with us. Now I am looking for my successor – a committed personality who enriches our HR team with passion and professionalism.
You are independently (but in coordination with the Head Office of The Chocolate on the Pillow Group) responsible for the entire personnel management. This makes the position very varied and creates the ideal conditions for your personal growth.
We are looking for you as a Human Resources Manager: the start date is by arrangement!
Job Description
- As a contact person, you advise, accompany and support the line managers, employees and trainees (a total of around 40 people) in all personnel and labour law matters throughout the entire work life cycle – from entry to exit
- The continuous optimisation of all processes in the entire work life cycle as well as taking on various HR projects are part of your tasks
- You take responsibility for the entire recruitment process and conduct interviews together with the respective line managers
- The independent handling of the entire personnel administration from A to Z is within your area of responsibility
- In Mirus, you process the payroll administration, settle all insurances and taxes, and prepare monthly and annual financial statements in cooperation with an external trustee
- The coordination and supervision of the training of two apprentices (hotel communication specialists with federal certificate of competence) also falls within your responsibilities
- Needs assessment, planning and implementation of internal and external training courses are organised and accompanied by you
- Your daily routine also includes various organisational and administrative tasks such as planning and organising employee events, feedback and end-of-year appraisals, as well as selecting employee gifts
- The preparation, monitoring and evaluation of personnel budgets, reports, statistics and key figures complete your varied range of tasks
Qualifications
- You bring at least three years of experience in a comparable position, for example as an HR Manager or HR Generalist – ideally in the hotel industry
- You have successfully completed further training with a federal HR specialist certificate
- General professional experience in the hotel industry is part of your background
- Particularly important is your joy in dealing with people!
- Organisational talent, high social and self-competence characterise you
- Sense of responsibility, independence and reliability are natural to you
- Very good German and English skills complete your profile
