Shunter
Tasks
- Coordinating and indirect leading / piloting of shunting movements in stations and sidings
- Breaking down, forming, coupling, checking trains as well as all work related to train preparation
- Checking the loading and rolling stock and technical inspection of freight wagons
- Loading and unloading as well as provision of swap bodies and general transhipment work
- Working with aids such as radios or smart devices with apps
Requirements
- Swiss driving licence category B as well as completed Ai40 training or higher
- Willingness to work shifts, assignments from Mon-Sun, including public holidays
- Reliable, punctual and responsible personality
- Good German skills in spoken and written form
- Affinity for modern communication tools
- Good physical condition and enthusiasm to work outdoors in all weather
