Role:

You want to not only implement cloud projects but also shape them technically? As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Senior), you are responsible for the transformation of grown on-premises infrastructures into Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 (M365). The focus is on platform, identity, and modern workplace. Infrastructure as Code is a given for you, and you consider security from the outset.

Responsibilities:

• You drive transition projects forward and migrate existing server and client landscapes to the Microsoft cloud.

• Additionally, you refactor existing Azure environments. You elevate landing zones, governance structures, and cost models to a new level.

• You automate deployments with Bicep and PowerShell and create standardised modules and deployment patterns.

• Furthermore, you design network architectures with virtual networks, peering, routing, and hybrid connections. You coordinate the connection to Fortinet firewalls with network specialists.

• You manage roles, access, and logins via Entra ID. You modernise endpoint management with Intune.

• Moreover, you establish best practices, analyse complex issues across all layers, and test new security and AI approaches in technical proofs of concept.

Qualifications:

• You have several years of experience in designing and engineering Microsoft cloud platforms and M365.

• You have already accompanied several migrations from on-premises environments and know the typical pitfalls.

• Infrastructure as Code is your craft. You write modular templates and scripts cleanly and maintainably.

• In the identity area, you impress with know-how of RBAC, MFA, Conditional Access, and app registrations.

• Furthermore, you are familiar with device compliance, private endpoints, VPN, and network security concepts. Fortinet knowledge is welcome.

• Additionally, you think in zero-trust principles, make well-founded architectural decisions, and ideally hold a Microsoft certification as a Solutions Architect or Security Engineer.
