Introduction

Are you looking for a new challenge as a kitchen manager?

Freytag Confiserie Café AG is a traditional confectionery with an adjoining café in Zurich Seefeld. Since 1930, we have been producing fresh baked goods, lunch menus, fine sandwiches and other popular products daily. Our company employs around 25 staff.

To complement our team, we are looking for a motivated individual from 1 October or by arrangement as:

Kitchen Manager – Chef EFZ, 100 %

Tasks

• Preparation of salads, sandwiches and bircher muesli for the morning service
• Preparation of the weekly menu as well as take-away and à la carte dishes
• Creative participation in the design and further development of our menu
• Planning and design of the weekly menus
• Ensuring compliance with our hygiene and quality standards (HACCP)
• Efficient organisation and planning of workflows in the kitchen
• Ordering, checking and proper storage of food and raw materials

Qualifications

• Completed training as a Chef EFZ or an equivalent qualification
• At least two years of professional experience
• Experience in the gastronomy sector, ideally in a café or catering business
• Creativity and passion for preparing high-quality dishes
• Independent, structured and reliable working style with a high awareness of quality
• Enthusiasm and openness to new ideas and work processes
• Team spirit and flexibility
• Good German language skills, spoken and written
