The Directorate for Security, Environment and Energy is committed to safety, protection and assistance, environmental protection, sustainable energy supply and is responsible for building permit procedures as well as the Bern Zoo. The Office for Adult and Child Protection is the competence centre of the City of Bern in the field of investigations, guardianships and inheritances.
What you achieve
- Independent management of guardianships in adult protection
- Advice and support for persons under care in various life situations
- Management of income and assets as well as assertion of social insurance claims
- Client-oriented collaboration with caseworkers
- Cooperation with authorities, specialist agencies and the social environment
What you bring
- Degree in Social Work or comparable qualification
- Experience in the social sector, preferably in adult protection
- Knowledge of social insurance systems
- Networked working style, resilience, great organisational skills and very good communication skills
