You can contribute in this role

• Ensure legal advice for enquiries and legal support in the preparation of statements and consultations
• Collaborate in the development and updating of legal bases (explanations, ordinance and directive texts)
• Develop guidelines and instructions in the area of military law, data protection law and in the application of the Freedom of Information Act
• Lead the operational planning and the professional, methodical and didactic implementation of legal training for internal departments, training instances in the defence sector as well as external authorities
• Create and revise training materials according to didactic principles with the help of responsible specialist departments
• Support the Extremism Unit in the Army with communication, case consultation and the initiation of measures

What makes you unique

• Completed university degree in law (Bachelor) with several years of professional experience
• Very good conceptual and rhetorical skills, basic didactic and pedagogical knowledge
• Communicative and team-oriented, able to think in a networked way
• Good knowledge of military law, reliable and proactive
• Oral and written knowledge of a second official language

The Training Command (Kdo Ausb) is responsible for training within the Swiss Army – from recruitment through basic training to leadership training for the militia and professional military. The Kdo Ausb includes the Higher Leadership Training, Army Personnel, five training units, the training centre as well as the Women in the Army and Diversity unit. One third of the approximately 2,350 employees work in civilian professions in scientific, technical, medical, psychological, administrative or sporting fields and contribute to success together with the professional military.

The Swiss Army employs over 9,000 staff in four military and around 200 civilian professions – at 110 locations throughout Switzerland. The next generation is also taken care of: the Swiss Army trains apprentices in over 30 professions.
