Application Integrator at the Information Systems Department
The Information Systems Department of the Infrastructure Department at CHUV is looking for an application integrator with a workload between 80% and 100% to strengthen its team. The starting date is scheduled for 1 August 2026 or to be agreed.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research and education.
The CHUV information system includes more than 200 applications serving users. Such an architecture relies on sharing critical data for patient care between applications.
The "integration" team is attached to the Information Systems Department. It works on data integration to feed various applications through the development, maintenance and support of interoperable services and interfaces that continuously synchronise data between applications in real time or deferred using EAI, ETL tools or APIs.
The "integration" team is also responsible for developing .NET applications as well as PowerShell scripts and their deployment via the DevOps methodology on Azure.
Mission
- You manage the development and maintenance of .NET applications
- You are responsible for the administration of the Azure DevOps platform
- You manage the development and maintenance of PowerShell scripts
- You handle the automation of processing chains for interfaces or batch jobs
- You develop interfaces on EAI or ETL
- You operate the team’s interfaces and automated processes.
Profile
- You hold a Master’s degree from EPFL, HES, UNI or an equivalent recognised qualification
- You have at least 3 years of professional experience in software development
- You have a good understanding of technical architectures
- You are interested in learning (if necessary) and applying the methods, standards and tools of the ISD
- You demonstrate precision and attention to detail and adopt a results- and solution-oriented, structured and pragmatic approach while maintaining a global vision
- You have good social skills, particularly an ability to relate to others, create a climate of trust, detect conflicts and mitigate them
- You show good stress resistance and can manage tense situations during commissioning or outages
- You possess technical knowledge such as Azure DevOps, Microsoft .NET and .NET Framework, Windows and Unix scripting (PowerShell, ksh, etc.), SQL and Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Server databases, object-oriented programming languages (C#, Java, etc.), SAML and OIDC authentication protocols, application communication protocols, REST and SOAP web services, optional knowledge of InterSystems IRIS Health Connect EAI or Talend DI ETL, optional knowledge of Angular and React frameworks, SQL.
Depending on the candidate’s experience, the salary class is between 11 and 12.
