Your role and responsibilities:
In this role, you will contribute to the implementation of our quality strategy throughout the local organisational unit, promoting a strong quality culture and implementing effective systems, tools and qualified teams, all focused on exceeding customer expectations and maintaining sustainable operations. Every day, you will balance prevention, continuous improvement and rapid response to quality challenges, collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve quality outcomes. Your work will directly support the organisational unit in achieving performance goals and progressing towards world-class standards.

This role contributes to the Critical Power, Smart Power division at Quartino, Switzerland.
You will be primarily responsible for:
- Actively supporting production lines as the first point of contact for quality-related issues.
- Systematically tracking and recording all non-conformities generated by the production lines.
- Contributing to the improvement of key quality indicators, primarily First Pass Yield (FPY) and the overall cost of poor quality (COPQ).
- Timely and accurately reporting non-conformities to the supplier.
- Controlling, implementing and continuously improving quality controls to enhance product quality and process control.
- Managing the non-conforming product warehouse and actively working to reduce inventory levels.
Role requirements:
- Mechanical or electrical technician or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in quality-related roles or equivalent.
- Deep knowledge of quality processes, including problem-solving methodologies and continuous improvement tools.
- Communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all organisational levels.
- Willingness to work shifts and beyond standard hours when required, and ability to work efficiently in challenging situations.
- The main language is Italian, written and spoken.
- Knowledge of English is considered an advantage.
