Senior Infrastructure Engineer (m/f/d)

Role:
In this role, you are responsible for demanding customer installations and ensuring the stable operation of complex network, security, and infrastructure environments. The focus is on 3rd-level support, commissioning, technical integrations, and the analysis of complex faults.
Responsibilities:
Accompanying customer installations from commissioning to successful completion
Carrying out and supporting installations via remote maintenance
Handling demanding 3rd-level support cases
Analysing and resolving complex network, security, and mail flow issues
Contributing to the development and testing of appliances
Creating and maintaining technical operational documentation
Supporting infrastructure and integration tasks
Qualifications:
Several years of experience as a system engineer
Solid knowledge of networks, TCP/IP, SMTP, firewalls, and NAT
Experience with mail flow, DNS as well as SMTP, IMAP, and Microsoft 365
Good knowledge of Linux and Windows environments
Experience with authentication and encryption, especially SSH/SCP, SSL, NTLM, and Kerberos
Knowledge of LDAP/Active Directory, HTTP/S, SAML, and APIs
Experience with VMware and virtual network environments
Knowledge of Active Directory, GPO, and Microsoft Defender
Experience with MX, SPF, and DKIM as well as Microsoft 365 rules and connectors
