The Adullam Foundation is a leading institution for geriatric medicine, therapy and care in Northwestern Switzerland. It operates a hospital and an affiliated care centre each in Basel and Riehen. Physiotherapy is a very important part of the interprofessional treatment team for geriatric patients in our hospital. The focus, in addition to acute geriatric treatment and therapy, is rehabilitation for medical conditions, after surgical and orthopaedic procedures. Physiotherapy is also available to outpatients.

For our physiotherapy team, we are looking for a flexible medical masseur for the Basel or Riehen location by arrangement

Your Tasks
- Treatment of acute medical patients as well as rehabilitation after surgical and orthopaedic procedures
- Treatment of outpatients
- Collection of all relevant patient data and interpretation thereof, as well as prior medical diagnoses and prescriptions
- Documentation of treatment and review of treatment effects, as well as adjustments to individual problems
- Active interprofessional collaboration with the medical and nursing teams as well as other therapeutic services
Your Profile
- Completed training as a certified medical masseur, ideally with a completed SRK recognition
- Completed training in complex decongestive therapy
- Experience in various areas of connective tissue, reflex zone and classic massage
- Knowledge and experience in thermo- and electrotherapy
- Expertise in medical fundamentals
- Ideally professional experience in geriatric rehabilitation with an eye for the individual needs of patients
- Enjoyment and interest in working with elderly people
- High social competence, flexibility and ability to work in a team
- Independent and networked way of working
- Sense of responsibility and commitment to the further development of workflows
- Good IT skills
