Your area of responsibility
The Regulatory Compliance Specialist is responsible for ensuring that LGT Group Holding AG complies with all relevant financial regulations and internal policies, as well as coordinating group-wide regulatory matters with our international companies. The tasks of this position include monitoring regulatory changes, implementing compliance frameworks, and providing professional advice to various business areas.
Your tasks:
- Monitoring and analysing new and evolving regulatory requirements (e.g. MiFID II, AML, GDPR, CRD) relevant to the global activities of LGT Group Holding AG
- Developing, implementing and maintaining internal compliance policies, procedures and controls
- Coordinating group-wide regulatory matters with our international companies
- Providing professional support for certain compliance programmes used group-wide
- Conducting regular compliance risk assessments and identifying potential areas of non-compliance
- Advising and guiding business areas on regulatory issues and their impact on business operations
- Preparing and delivering compliance training for employees at all levels
- Supporting the preparation and submission of regulatory reports and disclosures
- Collaborating with internal and external auditors as well as supervisory authorities
- Participating in projects to improve the compliance framework and compliance systems
Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree in law, finance, business administration or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant professional certification is an advantage
- At least 3-5 years of professional experience in a regulatory compliance role within the financial services industry
- Knowledge of relevant financial regulations (e.g. MiFID II, AML, GDPR, CRD) and international compliance standards
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulatory texts and translate them into practical business solutions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to effectively convey complex compliance concepts to a diverse audience
- Proven ability to work independently and in a team, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent German and English skills (spoken and written) are essential. Additional languages are an advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
