Job Description

F&B Operations

• Support of the restaurant/bar managers in the operational management of restaurant, breakfast, bar, room service and events
• Ensuring the highest service and quality standards according to Relais & Châteaux
• Support with duty planning, time controls, training and staff development
• Active presence in daily business and host role for our guests
• Co-responsibility for purchasing, storage & cost control and offer development

Personnel & Organisation

• Support of department heads in personnel management and employee care
• Participation in general recruitment, onboarding and training
• Control of working hours, holiday planning and administrative personnel tasks
• Support with budgeting, forecasts and business evaluations
• Support in handling guest feedback and quality management

Technology & Infrastructure

• Support of management in technical and organisational projects
• Coordination of maintenance, technical and infrastructure issues
• Support of housekeeping management in deployment planning, time controls and quality standards, including porter management
• Ensuring compliance with hygiene, quality and safety standards (HACCP)
• Continuous optimisation of processes and operational procedures

Assistant to Management

• Close cooperation with management in operational and administrative matters
• Coordination and accompaniment of cross-departmental projects
• Support in internal organisational and development projects
• Taking on special tasks and deputy functions in operational business

Qualifications

Culinary & management are in your blood – organisation, communication and efficiency as well.

• Completed training in hotel or gastronomy
• Several years of leadership experience in upscale hotel or gastronomy in Switzerland
• Strong leadership qualities and organisational skills, good numerical understanding
• Strong IT skills (Gastronovi, Mirus, PMS, Office365..). Various PMS or Canva an advantage)
• Good wine knowledge (minimum WSET 2)
• Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style
• Professional and warm appearance; physically stable, fit and balanced
• Very good German, French and English skills
• Joy & experience in dealing with international guests and employees
