As Head of IT, you will influence the technological direction of our company and further develop IT as a powerful, secure, and proactive business enabler. You create reliable structures, set strategic priorities, and, together with the specialist departments, ensure the technical prerequisites for digitalisation, automation, and the targeted use of AI.

For our successful team in Urdorf, we are looking for a committed and strong leadership personality as Head of IT 100% starting 1 January 2027 or by arrangement.

• You lead and develop the IT organisation both in terms of personnel and expertise, creating clear roles, responsibilities, and competencies
• You develop IT from a technical service provider to a proactive business enabler and translate business needs together with the specialist departments into realistic, secure, and economical solution options
• You are responsible for the IT strategy and technological roadmap, aligning them consistently with the corporate strategy
• You plan and control the IT budget, IT master plan, and IT portfolio, prioritising investments based on business benefits, risks, and strategic relevance
• You lead and promote Business Applications Management as the central interface between specialist departments and IT, ensuring value-oriented further development of the application portfolio
• You are responsible for the overall architecture and define binding standards for technologies, integration, and data flows
• Together with external service providers, you ensure a stable, secure, and economical IT operation
• You manage information security, authorisation concepts, IT risks, and business continuity in collaboration with the CISO, data protection, specialist departments, and external partners
• You professionally manage external service providers and are responsible for contract, SLA, licence, and sourcing management
• As a member of the Digital Project Board, you contribute architecture, security, integration, operability, and IT resources decisively to the prioritisation of the project portfolio
• Together with the Head of Digital & AI Transformation, you create the secure, integrated, and scalable technical prerequisites for digitalisation, automation, and AI initiatives

• You hold a university or university of applied sciences degree in business informatics, computer science, or a comparable field
• You have at least ten years of relevant IT experience, including several years in a leadership role with responsibility for strategy, organisation, budget, and external partners
• You have proven experience in developing and implementing IT strategies, roadmaps, and architectures
• You possess in-depth knowledge of IT architecture, integration, technology standards, IT security, authorisation concepts, risk management, and business continuity
• You are experienced in managing external service providers as well as contract, SLA, and sourcing management
• You have experience in managing complex IT and transformation projects and their sustainable transition into operations
• You have a strong business and process understanding and the ability to translate business requirements into viable technological solution options
• You impress with strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills and work effectively with various specialist departments and stakeholders
• You communicate fluently in German and English; knowledge of French is an advantage. Experience in retail or trade environments is also welcome.
