Scientific Research Associate

The University Clinic for Human Genetics and the Department of Human Genetics in the Clinical Genomics Laboratory is an interdisciplinary unit of the Inselspital. It offers a very broad spectrum of analyses in the cytogenetic and molecular genetic fields (pre- and postnatal) for the investigation of genetic diseases and also provides genetic counselling.

What to expect

• Further training to become a specialist in laboratory medicine in the field of medical genetics FAMH
• Learning and independently managing genetic laboratory diagnostics
• Participation in routine genetic diagnostics
• Development of new diagnostic methods
• Collaboration on projects in the field of human genetics

What you bring

• Completed university degree in biology, pharmacy or medicine
• Interest in completing FAMH further training
• Demonstrable interest in clinical-scientific questions
• Independence as well as good interdisciplinary team and communication skills in German
• Solution- and service-oriented thinking, high quality awareness
