Job description:

• Gathering, analysing, structuring, documenting and prioritising requirements from the compliance area
• Translating business requirements into clearly formulated use cases, user stories and business concepts
• Accompanying and managing requirements throughout the entire lifecycle – from gathering to implementation and acceptance
• Coordinating requirements with external suppliers as well as internal stakeholders
• Ensuring end-to-end traceability of regulatory requirements to technical implementation
• Creating test cases based on business requirements and supporting ongoing development and testing cycles
• Integrating new initiatives and quick wins into the overarching business and technical context
• Close collaboration with integrators, developers, testers, product owners, project managers and other internal stakeholders within a DevOps team
• Contributing to the continuous development of compliance applications and platforms

About the customer:

Our client is an established Swiss bank with a demanding technology and compliance environment. The compliance organisation works closely with IT to further develop and reliably operate business-critical applications to meet regulatory requirements. In this mandate, you will be part of a DevOps team responsible for more than a dozen compliance applications, including a productive platform for anti-money laundering monitoring. In addition to continuous development and testing cycles, new initiatives and short-term improvements from the compliance environment are continuously realised. Collaboration takes place across departments with integrators, developers, testers, product owners, project managers, external partners and internal stakeholders. The environment combines structured business analysis with agile implementation in a SAFe context and offers a responsible interface function between the business area, IT and external partners.

Requirements:

• 5–8 years of relevant professional experience as a Senior Business Analyst
• Solid methodological knowledge in business analysis, ideally in a SAFe or agile environment
• Proven experience in structuring complex business and regulatory requirements and translating them into actionable specifications
• In-depth expertise in customer compliance / anti-money laundering (AML), trade surveillance or employee compliance is mandatory
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills as well as a confident and professional demeanour
• Confident handling of demanding stakeholders in a complex organisational environment
• Experience in documenting and prioritising requirements as well as in traceability and test case creation
• Proficient use of Jira, Confluence and Microsoft Office
• German skills at near-native level (C2) and very good English skills, both written and spoken (C1)
