About the job
In this diverse job
- you receive goods, check them, and enter them into the system
- you store the goods and keep an overview with our warehouse software
- you assemble orders (picking) and prepare the goods for shipping
- you safely package the products, e.g. with strapping machines or stretch wrappers
- you create delivery and transport documents
- you assist with warehouse management and count inventory during stocktaking
- you load and unload trucks with modern industrial trucks (e.g. forklifts)
- you transport goods internally from A to B
- you take on additional tasks related to warehouse and logistics such as disposal, maintenance, and cleaning
You will succeed here if
- you have completed compulsory school: Canton Solothurn Sek B or E, Canton Bern Secondary Level I, Level P (primary school) or Level S (secondary school)
- you can express yourself well in German (spoken and written)
- you enjoy physical work
- you have a quick grasp, a sense for numbers and order, and a good memory
- you like working in a team
- you are characterized by accuracy, reliability, and diligence
