Operational Buyer Cable Products and Electromechanical Parts

Our purchasing department sees itself as a partner of our suppliers and is responsible for the reliable, timely and cost-effective availability of the required components. You take over the specifications from the quotation phase, obtain offers from suppliers, conduct negotiations, place orders and check order confirmations. You monitor delivery dates and proactively coordinate deviations with your internal and external contact partners. In addition, you support sales in the quotation phase by determining the material effort.

You report to the Head of Operational Purchasing. Special coordination is required at the interface between project managers and purchasing. You are familiar with the efficient processing of purchasing via an ERP system. You are an active communicator and enjoy working in a networked team.

Your profile:

• You have successfully completed a technical basic training (e.g. electronics technician, electromechanical technician)
• Several years of professional experience in the purchasing of electronic and electromechanical components (distribution)
• In-depth experience in the product group cables, connectors and electromechanical components including supplier network
• Experience in assisting with the creation of benchmarks and market analyses as well as supplier evaluations (strategic orientation)
• Good IT and ERP user skills
• You work independently, are a team player and think/act entrepreneurially
• Knowledge of logistics concepts, especially Kanban management, is advantageous
• German and English spoken and written
