Class and annual salary (including 13th month):
1 41,834.-- / 64,005.--
Tasks:
- hotel service, cleaning:
- performs cleaning and disinfection (equipment and buildings) according to the instructions and schedule set by the responsible persons
- uses cleaning products in accordance with service instructions
- uses equipment and work machines taking care of maintenance and promptly reporting any repair needs
- complies with personal protective equipment (PPE) regulations and ensures workplace safety
- respects institutional rules regarding users' personal belongings
- collaborates with care staff and conveys, within the limits of their knowledge and skills, information related to their work and users' behaviour, without interfering with the users' therapeutic plan
- if necessary, supports other groups of the Hotel Service and collaborates with the Catering Service
- hotel service, laundry, tailoring:
- manages dirty laundry in the laundry according to instructions and work guidelines
- handles clean laundry according to instructions and prepares it for distribution within Casvegno and for external clients
- labels company, personal, and work clothes laundry
- supports users in daily laundry activities, in collaboration with Inclusive Professional Areas (API)
- uses equipment and work machines taking care of maintenance and promptly reporting any repair needs
- complies with personal protective equipment (PPE) regulations and ensures workplace safety
- performs cleaning and disinfection (equipment and buildings) of the laundry according to instructions and schedule set by the responsible persons
- if necessary, assists with cleaning Casvegno buildings and collaborates with the Catering Service
- catering service:
- performs cleaning and disinfection (equipment and buildings) according to instructions and work plans set by the responsible persons
- performs daily washing of dishes
- prepares vegetables for meals (cutting and cleaning) and collaborates with cooks in meal preparation
- assists with meal distribution: on the conveyor belt and/or at the counter, independently prepares breakfasts and fulfils food requests for wards and residential units
- if necessary, collaborates with the Hotel Service
- uses equipment and work machines taking care of maintenance and promptly reporting any repair needs and uses cleaning products in accordance with service instructions
- complies with personal protective equipment (PPE) regulations and ensures workplace safety
Requirements:
- Federal Certificate of Competence (FCC) as domestic economy employee or operator for routine and maintenance cleaning is preferred
- proven experience in the hotel and/or catering sector is preferred
- availability to work shifts (including weekends and holidays)
- good command of the Italian language (spoken and written)
- flexibility, organisational and interpersonal skills
- teamwork attitude
- willingness to work with people in a sociopsychiatric environment
- knowledge of the Ticino region
Special notes:

Employment conditions:
- appointment or assignment: as provided by the Law on the Organisation of State Employees and Teachers of 15 March 1995 (LORD) and the related Regulation. Any changes in law concerning salary and organisation are explicitly reserved
- working hours: 42 hours per week (for a 100% employment relationship), flexible or according to service needs
