About the job
The Department of Ageing and Care of the City of Winterthur offers a diverse range of services for the population of Winterthur in its five retirement homes as well as through Spitex.We offer a reliable and sociable person the opportunity to gain first or additional experience in the field of domestic services during a fixed-term assignment of 6 to 12 months starting 1 July 2026 at the Brühlgut Retirement Home.
Your Tasks
- Maintenance and basic cleaning of residents' rooms, public areas, and sanitary facilities
- Proper use of various cleaning machines, after training
- Preparation of our residents' laundry
Your Profile
- Good German language skills and good understanding of the Swiss dialect
- Interest in getting to know the activities in domestic services
- Enjoyment of physical and responsible work
- Helpful personality with pleasure in working with elderly people
- A warm and open-minded basic attitude
- Willingness to work weekend shifts
