Business Development Manager Dell Technologies ISG (m/f/d)
Description:
You have solid experience in business development, sales or channel environment and want to specifically further develop your expertise? You enjoy working independently, think entrepreneurially and take pleasure in shaping sustainable growth together with Dell Technologies?
As a Business Development Manager, you are responsible for the further development of the Dell Technologies Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) business in Switzerland. You act as a central interface between our partners, internal departments and Dell Technologies.
You identify new market and revenue potentials, strategically develop existing partners and actively drive go-to-market, enablement and sales activities. In doing so, you take clear responsibility for your partners, business opportunities and results.
Your daily business:
- You acquire new partners and strategically develop existing partners in the Dell Technologies environment
- You identify concrete market, customer and growth potentials for the Dell Technologies ISG portfolio and implement derived measures
- You support sales teams in positioning and marketing solutions in the areas of servers, storage, networking, AI and services
- You promote synergies and cross-selling potentials between the Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) and the Client Solutions Group (CSG)
- You develop and implement targeted go-to-market and partner activities together with sales, presales, category, marketing and Dell Technologies
- You support partners with vendor programmes, campaigns, incentives and in expanding their Dell Technologies competencies
- You analyse pipeline, revenue and performance data, derive concrete business measures and present the results in forecasts and business reviews

Your experience
- Several years of experience in business development, channel management or sales in the IT or technology environment
- Experience in building and strategically developing partners and customers
- Good knowledge of the infrastructure business, preferably in the areas of servers, storage, networking or data centre
- Experience in developing and implementing sales and go-to-market activities
- Analytical understanding of pipeline, forecast, revenue development and relevant business KPIs
- Practical experience with Dell Technologies or a comparable infrastructure vendor is an advantage
Your language skills
- Very good German skills
- Good English skills
- French skills are an additional plus
Your "nice to haves"
- In-depth understanding of the IT channel and partner business
- Existing network in the Swiss IT market
- Experience in managing pipelines, forecasts and business KPIs
- Technical basic understanding of data centre, cloud and networking architectures
- Knowledge in the areas of AI, data backup, recovery or security
- Strong skills in relationship building and stakeholder communication
- Certifications or vendor knowledge in the Dell Technologies environment
