About the job
We are looking for a chef EFZ (60-100%) with heart, structure and attention to detail for our modern Bloomell Coffeehouse in the Emmenhof area in Derendingen. Our location is directly on the idyllic Emmen canal, nestled in an urban, newly developed area with great potential and a dedicated team. The Bloomell Coffeehouse stands for high-quality brunch culture, local ingredients, innovative recipes and warm hospitality. In this role, you will work both in production for our three locations and in the operational daily business of the kitchen.
YOUR TASKS
- Production of our dishes and components for all Bloomell locations
- Preparation of high-quality breakfast and brunch dishes according to Bloomell standards
- Working according to clear recipes and defined quality standards
- Preparation of ingredients and mise en place for daily operations
- Ensuring a smooth workflow in the kitchen during service times
- Responsibility for compliance with quality, hygiene and safety guidelines
- Ordering, goods receipt and inventory management according to the "First In, First Out" principle
- Ensuring cleanliness, order and adherence to hygiene regulations
YOUR PROFILE
- Completed basic training as a chef EFZ or comparable training with experience
- Experience in the kitchen or food production
- Enjoyment of fresh and high-quality ingredients
- Structured, reliable and clean working method
- Enjoyment of clear processes and recurring procedures
- Resilience, independence, teamwork and sense of responsibility
- Digital affinity – part of our processes is digitalised
- Good German skills are an advantage
- Willingness to work at weekends
