About the job
Your tasks
- Medical assessment, support and care of patients with obesity along the conservative, medicinal and bariatric-surgical treatment pathway
- Long-term support of patients in your own outpatient clinic
- Active participation in the interdisciplinary obesity centre and close collaboration with the involved specialist disciplines within the hospital, especially internal medicine, surgery, nutritional counselling, endocrinology, gastroenterology and psychology
- Co-design and further development of the interdisciplinary treatment of patients with obesity
Your profile
- Specialist in General Internal Medicine or Surgery FMH or comparable recognised title
- Motivated personality with enthusiasm for interdisciplinary care of patients with obesity
- Knowledge in the field of obesity medicine or bariatric medicine is not a prerequisite but an advantage
- Enjoyment of constructive collaboration in an interprofessional team
- Very good German language skills, spoken and written
- A varied role in an interdisciplinary obesity centre with short communication paths
- Close cooperation between internal medicine, surgery and other specialist disciplines
- A respectful and family-like working atmosphere
- Regular working hours on weekdays
- Employment depending on professional background through the Clinic of Internal Medicine or the Clinic of Surgery
