The Nature and Animal Park Goldau is nestled in an impressive rocky landscape and idyllic forests. It welcomes around 450,000 guests annually who discover the home of about 100 European wild animal species on 42 hectares. A dedicated team of around 200 employees and numerous volunteers passionately commits daily to the sustainable goals of the scientifically managed animal park. The focus is on the areas of nature and species conservation,
education and research.
We are looking for a committed personality as of November 1, 2025, or by arrangement for the position of
Employee Beekeeping
Workload of around 300 hours per year
Your core tasks
" Maintenance of 10 to 15 bee colonies
" Training and coaching of rangers who offer tours and workshops on the topic of bees
" Conducting tours and workshops on wild and honey bees for school classes from
1st to 3rd cycle
You bring with you
" Beekeeper training, several years of practical experience as a beekeeper
" Joy and experience in working with children and school classes
" Residence near Goldau
" Flexibility in scheduling weather-dependent work
" High degree of independence and strong sense of responsibility
" Driver's license
