About the job
As an Azure Cloud Engineer, you will help shape the development of our cloud landscape from the ground up. Your focus is on developing a modern, secure, and scalable cloud foundation that serves as the basis for our future Azure services and applications.You will work with us to develop the fundamental concepts and standards for our Azure platform – from Identity & Access Management, networking and security, to governance and monitoring, as well as automation and Infrastructure as Code. It is not just about operating existing solutions: you have the opportunity to help design structures, technologies, and processes from the start and contribute your ideas.
You can expect a dynamic environment with plenty of creative freedom. As we are currently building our cloud competencies and structures, you will be a central part of this development from the outset. You will analyse requirements and technical issues, develop sustainable solutions, and implement them together with internal and external specialists.
You will work closely with various departments and IT, helping to build and further develop our Azure Cloud Foundation step by step. Your knowledge and experience are just as important as your willingness to try new approaches and take on responsibility.

What excites you
- You contribute to the creation and further development of cloud concepts, standards, and architectures related to Microsoft Azure
- You design, implement, automate, and operate our cloud infrastructure
- You automate cloud resources and processes with Infrastructure as Code and modern DevOps approaches
- You establish concepts for security, identity & access management, networking, governance, and monitoring
- You contribute your ideas, take responsibility, and actively shape our cloud architecture
What you bring
- You have solid experience with Microsoft Azure in an enterprise environment, know the key concepts of modern cloud infrastructures, and ideally have worked in a regulated banking environment (FINMA)
- You have experience with IaC (preferably Terraform), cloud environments in an enterprise context, and are familiar with building and operating highly available systems
- You are solution-oriented, work independently and in a structured manner
- You enjoy developing and advancing cloud concepts
- You live in Switzerland and have very good German and good English skills
