Senior Expert Liability Insurance National & International (m/f/d)

What awaits you

As a Senior Expert in Liability Insurance, you take on the technical leadership of the national and international liability business in the corporate segment. You manage the development and quality of the portfolio, actively shape our products and underwriting guidelines, and thus make an important contribution to profitable growth. In doing so, you work closely with underwriting, actuarial, product development, sales and other specialist departments.

What you achieve with us

You maintain and manage the national and international liability portfolio and are jointly responsible for the technical result. To do this, you further develop the underwriting and underwriting guidelines, define the risk appetite and ensure their consistent application.

You review complex and submission-required risks, approve them and participate in underwriting boards for large risks. At the same time, you ensure the quality and compliance with the guidelines in underwriting, conduct regular specialist audits and ensure the requirements of the internal control system.

You continuously monitor developments in risks, products and the market, compare our solutions with competitor offers and derive appropriate adjustments. In addition, you further develop existing products, build a pipeline for innovations and drive digitalisation topics together with the responsible specialist departments.

What you bring with you

• University degree in business administration or mathematics; legal training or corresponding expertise is an advantage
• In-depth several years of experience in underwriting national and international industrial liability insurance solutions at expert level
• Ideally some leadership experience
• Great interest in product development, digital solutions and IT
• Analytical and networked thinking, assertiveness as well as a resilient and solution-oriented working style
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Very good German and English skills, French skills are an advantage
