Sehag makes an important contribution to the conservation of natural resources. Valuable materials are recovered from waste and returned to the recycling cycle. The residues generated in the process are safely stored in our modern landfills.

To strengthen our team in Sirnach TG, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a reliable, independent and committed person for the position of Landfill Manager (m/f/d) 80-100%.

Your Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for the technical, personnel and financial management of the landfill
• Planning, coordination and implementation of operational projects
• Ensuring compliance with legal and environmental requirements including incoming inspections and chemical analyses
• Coordination of proper material installation and stage planning
• Ensuring maintenance and availability of infrastructure and machinery
• Responsibility for operational documentation and occupational safety
• Central contact person for authorities, municipalities, customers and internal departments

Your Profile

• Technical or construction-related basic training with business management further education or equivalent qualification
• Several years of professional experience in the disposal, recycling or construction industry, ideally with management responsibility
• Professional certificate for disposal facilities and/or TAFE specialist course in landfilling or willingness to complete this further education
• Good knowledge of Swiss environmental and waste law (VVEA, VeVA, USG)
• Entrepreneurial thinking, responsible and assertive personality with strong communication skills
• Independent, structured and reliable working style as well as very good German language skills
