About the job

• Design practical and innovative courses in the Bachelor, Master and continuing education programmes in the field of People & Organisation, focusing on modern human-centred and data-driven HR work as well as leadership in the context of transformation and change.
• Support students in analysing and implementing projects in this focus area.
• Assist companies in developing evidence-based and technology-supported HR, leadership and organisational transformation.
• Acquire, conduct and lead third-party funded projects in research and services (e.g. SNSF, Innosuisse).
• Strategically further develop the field of People & Organisation in the context of New Work at a business school and actively contribute to the institute's profile building.

• PhD in Business Administration, Management or an HRM-related discipline with proven expertise at the interface of People and Organisation, human-centred, data-driven HR work and/or Transformative Leadership
• Experience and enthusiasm for knowledge transfer in teaching and continuing education at university level.
• Proven experience in acquiring national and international research projects on People & Organisation, modern data-driven HR work and/or leadership in transformation and change.
• Practical experience outside academia is an advantage.
• Relevant research publications in leading journals in the mentioned fields as well as interest in applied research and third-party funding acquisition.
• Strong stakeholder orientation (clients, students and community).
• (Inter)national network in academia and/or HR practice.

• Curiosity and sometimes even radical lateral thinking are required when looking for solutions.
• Responsibility in exciting future projects that attract attention beyond the boundaries of the specialist world.
• Great freedom in designing working hours.
• Lots of contact with people from Switzerland and around the world.
