Role:
As a Cyber Security Manager, you will manage the operation of a Security Operations Centre and consistently develop the services further. You are the central interface between internal IT operations, external service providers, and IT security. The development phase offers you plenty of scope for design, from planning threat hunts to optimising operational processes. Responsibilities:
You coordinate the operation of the SOC services and ensure quality assurance, escalation, and ongoing development
You ensure the monitoring and coordination of security incidents within the framework of Incident Response
Furthermore, you take on operational tasks during the development phase such as analysing and assessing potential security incidents
You plan proactive measures such as Threat Hunts, prepare regular reports, and participate in audits
In addition, you are responsible for budget and cost planning as well as contract and supplier management
You also take a leading role in projects to expand security services
Qualifications:
You have a university degree in computer science, business informatics, or IT security, or an equivalent qualification
Relevant certifications in information security and project management complement your profile
You have several years of professional experience in information security, especially in Vulnerability Management and Threat Intelligence
You are familiar with SIEM, SOAR, and XDR, as well as Windows and Linux environments
You also have a strong service orientation combined with communication skills and assertiveness
Additionally, you work systematically and analytically, keep up to date with developments in cyber security, and communicate confidently in German and English
