Exciting tasks for you
- You independently manage mandates in child and adult protection on behalf of the KESB in accordance with the legal requirements of the Civil Code.
- You conduct thorough investigations in child and adult protection and prepare investigation reports, applications, and other reports that serve as the basis for decisions and measures of the KESB.
- You represent the interests of persons under guardianship independently in legal, financial, and personal matters, promoting their self-determination and quality of life while complying with legal requirements and professional standards.
- You coordinate aid and support services and accompany the implementation of appropriate measures in the clients' living environment.
- You maintain professional contact with clients and their environment and act in a resource- and solution-oriented manner.
- You actively contribute to the further development of our Child and Adult Protection Service (KESD) and bring your expertise into collegial exchange.
- You work closely in an interdisciplinary environment with internal and external specialists as well as specialist offices such as social welfare, KESB, schools, medical professionals, social institutions, and other network partners.
This is what you bring to us
- You have a tertiary degree in social work or a similar field (law, education, or psychology).
- You have several years of professional experience, ideally in social counselling and/or mandate management, or the willingness to undertake specific further training.
- You enjoy responsibility and complex situations.
- You are resilient and a team player.
- You like to work independently and precisely.
- You have an administrative flair and good IT skills.
- You possess a well-measured sense of humour to be able to handle the intense daily work in this field with ease again and again.
