Information Specialist at the Media Library
Graubünden Cantonal School | 70-80% | Chur
The Graubünden Cantonal School is an important educational institution with about 1,000 students from all three cantonal languages. As a section of the Office of Upper Secondary Education, it offers upper secondary school training programs at the high school with long and short education as well as at the specialized school, commercial school, and computer science school. As an information specialist, you will complete our small media library team by providing support in the entire range of services.
For the Graubünden Cantonal School, we are looking for an information specialist at the media library starting January 1, 2026.
Tasks
- Provision and lending of media
- Consultation for students and teachers
- Transmission of information skills (e.g., training)
- Collaboration in managing digital offerings
- Collaboration in purchasing and cataloging media as well as presenting collections to external parties.
- Assuming responsibility in assigned areas (e.g., interlibrary loans, journal administration)
- Collaboration on internal school projects as well as general administrative tasks
What we expect from you
- Completed training in the library, information, and documentation sector or equivalent training
- Good knowledge of Office applications
- You are a reliable person, capable of working independently and in a team, and enjoy working with young people
- As an employee at a trilingual school, you complete your profile with knowledge of other cantonal languages.
