Your tasks

Strategy & Portfolio

• Strategic and financial management of the yield and development portfolio
• Development, implementation, and continuous further development of property and portfolio strategies in close coordination with site and project development to sustainably optimise performance
• Identifying market, opportunity, and risk trends in the Swiss real estate market and independently deriving appropriate measures
• Creative and solution-oriented input for property acquisitions and sales

• Disciplinary and professional leadership as well as further development of the entire asset management team across Switzerland
• Leadership and coordination of internal and external property managers, administrative organisations, and other service providers
• Close collaboration with property management, marketing, realisation, project development, sustainability, transactions, finance, and legal

• Consolidation of budgeting, forecasting, multi-year planning, and controlling of property income, vacancies, operating as well as maintenance and repair costs in cooperation with the head of property management
• Definition, monitoring, and further development of relevant portfolio key figures
• Development and maintenance of management dashboards and reporting tools for executive management
• Preparation of data bases and controlling of valuation results from external real estate appraisers

• Responsibility for the preparation, review, and presentation of investment proposals as a basis for decisions by the respective investment committees
• Representation of owner and portfolio interests towards authorities, neighbours, tenants, co-owners, and other stakeholders

• Definition, management, and monitoring of vacancy management
• Active and strategic tenant relationship management, including negotiations with key and anchor tenants as well as potential new tenants

• Responsibility for the implementation of sustainability and ESG topics at the property level
• Ensuring the achievement of the defined CO₂ reduction path at the portfolio level

Your profile

• Master’s degree in business administration or engineering sciences (FH/University) with further education in real estate (e.g. MAS Real Estate, CUREM or equivalent)
• Several years (at least 5 years) of solid professional experience in real estate asset management (commercial and residential), necessarily in a leadership role
• Proven professional and disciplinary leadership experience of at least 5 employees, supportive and empowering leadership style
• Strong analytical skills and networked thinking
• Very good knowledge of real estate valuation, investment calculations, and portfolio management
• High technical understanding of construction and development issues
• Entrepreneurially minded, inspiring, communicative personality with negotiation skills
• Affinity for IT projects and digitalisation processes
• Very good German and English skills are essential, good French skills are an advantage
• Willingness to travel throughout German-speaking and Western Switzerland
