Purchasing and Planning Manager

About the job

Your mission:
You ensure the smooth operation of purchasing and planning activities, from procurement to the delivery of finished products. Working closely with production workshops and logistics, you contribute to the performance of the Supply Chain through rigorous planning, excellent control of flows, and a continuous improvement approach.

Your responsibilities:

• Manage a team of 2 collaborators
• Manage external purchases at the best cost, within the given deadlines, while maintaining very good relationships with our partners, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Oversee production planning and scheduling: manage manufacturing orders and ensure their follow-up in collaboration with workshop managers.
• Define and implement the safety stock management strategy and ensure its monitoring.

Your profile:

• Technical or commercial training with industrial experience.
• Continuing education in purchasing, procurement, planning, or supply chain.
• Higher education (ES/HES) would be an advantage.
• Fluency in French and German, good knowledge of English.
• Interpersonal skills, good listening, ability to work autonomously while having a strong team spirit, very good analytical and synthesis skills.
