Our client, an internationally successful Swiss medical technology company, is looking for a committed individual in the field of IT Security Infrastructure Engineering who works with modern technologies, continuously develops security solutions, and makes an important contribution to a stable and secure IT infrastructure.

Your challenge

• Operation, further development and hardening of the IT security infrastructure
• Implementation and optimisation of modern security solutions in the infrastructure and cloud environment
• Analysis, handling and prevention of security incidents as well as support in incident response
• Conducting vulnerability assessments as well as planning and implementing appropriate hardening measures
• Automation of security processes and continuous optimisation of the security landscape
• Participation in exciting infrastructure and security projects as well as close collaboration with internal IT and infrastructure teams
• Creation and maintenance of technical documentation as well as support in 2nd and 3rd level support

Your qualities and talents

• Completed studies in computer science, systems engineering or IT security
• Several years of professional experience as a system engineer, infrastructure engineer or security engineer
• Very good knowledge of the Linux environment as well as experience in the administration and securing of Linux systems
• Experience with networks, firewalls, security monitoring and vulnerability management
• Good knowledge in scripting and automation (e.g. Bash, Python or PowerShell)
• Ideally experience with container technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes as well as hybrid infrastructure or cloud environments
• Analytical, structured and independent working style as well as high initiative
• Very good German and good English skills, both spoken and written
