Job Description
In collaboration with other professional groups within the establishment, you carry out the specific tasks of the social sector in pre-trial detention: maintaining detainees' relationships with the outside world, managing their personal, financial and administrative affairs, and developing their reintegration plan. You ensure the individual follow-up of detainees and support them in the progression of their sentence/measure.
You are an integral part of the development of the identity of a dynamic institution and operate in a multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities
- Conduct individual interviews, notably at the request of detainees, and in response to requests from authorities.
- Ensure the administrative follow-up of individual files, review their administrative and financial situation, and process related requests.
- Participate in the execution plan of the criminal sanction by organising social, institutional and therapeutic conduct according to current regulations.
- Guide detainees in reflecting on their actions, life project and work to restore their self-esteem.
- Actively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders by participating in meetings and networks.
- Organise contacts with detainees' families and various partners related to socio-professional reintegration.
Our employment conditions require you to be Swiss or hold a C permit, be free of debt enforcement orders (an extract from the Debt Collection Office must be presented during the process), and have a clean criminal record. There is a right to consult the criminal record in accordance with the Federal Law on the Criminal Record by the hiring authority for this position.
Qualifications
Holder of a HES-SO Bachelor in social work, a diploma as a social educator ES or a university degree in social sciences.
Significant professional experience in supporting adults with complex life situations or backgrounds.
Any additional training in health, addictions, migration or criminology is a definite asset, as is proficiency in a foreign language.
Comfortable working within a highly regulated framework and with the concept of mandated assistance.
Listening skills while maintaining the necessary distance for your mission.
Open-mindedness, good communication skills and strong emotional control enable you to handle tense situations as well as oppositional attitudes.
Organisational skills and excellent written French for report writing. Good command of common IT tools.
