Would you like to become part of our marking team? Proper road marking makes an important contribution to traffic management, thereby increasing road safety and traffic flow. Maintenance District 10 in Pfäffikon, with its 23 employees, is responsible for the maintenance of around 130 km of state roads and 300 km of hiking trails in the Canton of Zurich. For our 5-person marking group, which carries out maintenance markings on over 1300 km of state roads in the canton, we are looking for reinforcement by arrangement.
Your tasks
- You are jointly responsible for road marking in the Canton of Zurich (small markings, maintenance markings)
- In the winter months, you support your colleagues with winter services, repair work, signalling, cleaning or work in green maintenance
Your profile
- Painter or another manual trade qualification
- Interest in learning the specific tasks of road marking
- Willingness to work night shifts (especially during the summer months)
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather and during the winter months at shifted working hours, as well as occasionally on weekends
- You find operating machines easy
- You are technically skilled, physically fit and a team player
- Driving licence category B, ideally C/CE
- You can reach the Pfäffikon depot within 30 minutes
