Responsibilities:
You manage the supplier portfolio and develop new procurement sources.
You define medium- and long-term purchasing goals for your categories.
You prepare and conduct negotiations with international suppliers.
You coordinate production requirements with planning and quality management.
You identify and realise cost-saving potentials within your product groups.
You monitor supplier performance and initiate escalations if necessary.
You actively participate in audits and cross-departmental purchasing projects.
You keep master data and ordering processes up to date and handle deviations.
Qualifications:
University degree in business administration or industrial engineering.
Several years of experience in technical or strategic purchasing in an industrial company.
Good knowledge of technical procurement markets and supplier development.
Experience with SAP R/3 or S/4HANA as well as common office applications.
Assertiveness and clear communication with internal and external partners.
Structured working style with strong numerical and process orientation.
Willingness to travel internationally about 10% of the time.
Fluent German and English in an international working environment.
