Reception and Surveillance Assistant at the Rhaetian Museum
Office of Culture | Rhaetian Museum | approx. 40% | Chur
For the Rhaetian Museum within the Office of Culture, we are looking for a reception and surveillance assistant with shop responsibilities starting June 1, 2026.
Tasks
- Welcomes visitors to the Rhaetian Museum and is the first point of contact for their questions and requests.
- Responsible for the cash register, sells admission tickets, and handles daily closings.
- Manages our small but refined museum shop.
- Contributes to ensuring safety and order in the museum through inspection rounds.
- Participates in group cleaning of the museum every other Monday.
- Assists with events and occasionally supports the museum team by performing small tasks as an assistant.
What we expect from you
- Customer orientation and good manners
- Reliability and attentiveness
- Flexibility and willingness to work two weekends per month and occasionally evenings
- Sales experience
- Language skills, preferably a second cantonal language as well as English
- Enjoyment and interest in the history and culture of Graubünden
