The Life Worlds Department of the Evangelical Reformed Church of the Canton of Zurich shapes the dialogue between church and society with digital and analogue educational formats. To strengthen our team, we are looking for an organisationally strong personality as of 1 November 2026 or by arrangement:

Head of Administration (70%)

In this versatile role, you will take on a central hub function for organisational, administrative and leadership-related matters of the department. You create reliable framework conditions, ensure structured business filing and coordinate the department's finances.

Your tasks

• Management of the secretariat and ensuring efficient processes as well as leading two employees
• Supporting the department management with organisational, administrative and leadership-related tasks
• Responsibility for departmental finances and financial processes
• Coordination of cross-departmental tasks and processes
• Central contact person within and outside the department
• Independent planning and implementation of larger assignments and projects
• Organisation of meetings and appointments including minute-taking and preparation of documents
• Organisation of document filing and support in business administration

Your profile

• Completed commercial training and several years of professional experience in a comparable position
• Further training in office management and experience with AI tools
• Very good user knowledge of SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Dynamics 365 and CMI (business administration system)
• Leadership experience and enjoyment in supporting employees
• Strong organisational skills, structured working method, independence and sense of responsibility
• Communicative, service-oriented personality with pleasure in collaboration across departmental boundaries
