In this position, you will shape the FHNW-wide harmonisation and digitalisation of the administration and support processes in continuing education. In close collaboration with the universities, IT and other central services, you will develop coordinated, effective and user-friendly end-to-end processes. You will combine different professional needs, create sustainable decision-making bases and accompany the introduction of jointly developed solutions.
Your area of work includes the following main tasks in a dynamic and creative environment:
- Responsibility for the harmonisation of the administration and support processes in FHNW continuing education
- Analyse, model, harmonise, optimise and continuously develop the administration and support processes of continuing education
- Contribute to the further development of the process strategy and translate strategic objectives into a prioritised roadmap for continuing education operations
- Gather, structure and translate the requirements of different stakeholders into clear professional requirements
- Analyse and model innovative solutions in close cooperation with the business and IT
- Document processes and decision-making bases transparently and support the decentralised process owners through information, exchange and training in the introduction of new processes
- Plan, coordinate and accompany the introduction of harmonised processes together with the universities, Corporate IT and the involved services, and monitor their implementation and effectiveness
- Represent the process perspective and the coordinated professional requirements in relevant committees, projects and initiatives of continuing education
Your Profile:
As a communicative and integrative personality, you have a university degree or an equivalent qualification and ideally further training in process, project or change management. You enjoy working at the interface between specialist departments and IT and can bring together different interests into sustainable, innovative solutions.
In addition, you bring the following:
- Professional experience and qualified expertise in process and change management in expert organisations as well as in managing complex projects
- Experience in business analysis and requirements management
- Methodological knowledge in process analysis and process modelling
- A strong affinity for IT systems and application landscapes
- Conceptual skills as well as an analytical and structured way of working
- Strong communication and moderation skills
- Solution orientation, ability to accept criticism, decisiveness and good listening skills
- Very good oral and written expression in German as well as good English skills
- Knowledge of the Swiss higher education landscape, continuing or adult education, as well as experience with administration and support processes in university continuing education are advantageous.

Your Perspectives:
The FHNW Services provide individual universities with services and systems for the operation of studies and continuing education. In the Digital Process Management department, we pool our competencies for cross-university harmonisation and digitalisation of processes.
As Process Owner*in Continuing Education Operations, you take on a central professional role in the Processes team. You will have the opportunity to actively help shape the development of a harmonised process landscape in continuing education and to develop sustainable solutions for the entire FHNW together with the universities and central services.
