Role:
You are neither a pure administrator nor a classic manager? This position is aimed at an experienced IT generalist who wants to lead a small team, make technical decisions and at the same time dive deep into Windows, cloud and infrastructure themselves.
Responsibilities:
Control and further development of the entire IT operations
Leading a small, technically oriented IT team
Ensuring stable and secure IT operations
Taking on demanding engineering and administration tasks
Operation and optimisation of the Microsoft infrastructure
Further development of Windows Server, clients and central directory services
Administration of Microsoft 365 and Entra ID
Support of hybrid cloud architectures and modern workplace services
Further development of endpoint management and automated deployment processes
Responsibility for network, backup, storage and basic security services
Automation of administrative processes with PowerShell and modern management tools
Planning and implementation of infrastructure projects, migrations and system renewals
Definition of technical standards and architectural principles
Coordination of IT service providers and technology partners
Analysis of recurring faults and sustainable optimisation of IT services
Responsibility for budget, license management and technical procurement
Qualifications:
Extensive professional experience in IT infrastructure, system engineering or IT operations
Very good knowledge of the Microsoft environment
Experience with Windows client and server administration
Practical knowledge of Microsoft 365, Active Directory and ideally Azure
Understanding of networks, security, backup and virtualisation
Leadership experience or strong willingness to take responsibility for a small team
Strong technical affinity and enjoyment of operational work
Independent working style and high decision-making ability
Experience in accompanying IT projects from conception to implementation
Ability to communicate technical complexity clearly to specialist departments and management
