The State Chancellery SK offers a stimulating working environment at the heart of the cantonal government’s activities and throughout the entire cantonal administration. It manages the Secretariat of the State Council, organises its events and is responsible for public information, coordination of external relations and relations with the Grand Council. It ensures the consistency and quality of Fribourg legislation. It organises elections and referendums and takes care of official publications, the state archive, certifications, printed matter and internal mail.

Your tasks
The duties of this position could be shared in a job-sharing arrangement with a person already working in this role.
- You ensure the administrative activities of the Directorate of the State Chancellery in the Secretariat of the State Council, thereby relieving the State Chancellor and the Vice-Chancellors of all administrative and organisational tasks
- In collaboration with the parties involved, you are responsible for the administrative organisation of the State Council meetings (agenda, follow-up, dispatch of decisions and letters, completion of documents, planning)
- You handle correspondence and draft reply letters to various enquiries and invitations addressed to the State Chancellery and the State Council
- You provide administrative support for strategic projects of the State Council and the State Chancellery
- You carry out administrative tasks for the other sectors of the State Chancellery
- You organise the meetings of the State Chancellor and manage her diary and travel arrangements
Desired profile
- Federal diploma as Executive Assistant or Bachelor in Business
- Several years of professional experience, preferably in cantonal administration
- Agility, sociability and stress resistance
- Ability to think and act in a networked manner
- Ability to anticipate and make proposals
- Fluency in German or French, both spoken and written, with very good knowledge of the other official language
