Responsibilities
- You coordinate the user services of the University Library Wädenswil and assist at the information desk.
- You develop offers and formats within the "Third Place" team that strengthen the library as a lively place for learning, encounters, and staying.
- As part of the training team, you impart information literacy in curricular training sessions and courses and advise students as well as staff of the Department of Life Sciences & Facility Management on research queries.
- You lead or support projects aimed at further developing the services and offerings of the University Library.
Profile
- You hold a completed university degree (Bachelor/Master or equivalent) in the field of information and documentation.
- You have experience in designing and conducting events to impart information literacy as well as pronounced didactic skills.
- You enjoy developing and implementing offers and event formats for different target groups.
- You are proficient with library management systems and ideally have experience with Alma.
- You are fluent in German and English, both spoken and written, and are able to advise and teach in both languages.
- You enjoy working in a team, take responsibility, and advance topics with a solution-oriented and networked approach.

At the Wädenswil campus library, a small, dedicated on-site team works closely with the specialist units of the University Library. With its services and offerings in the areas of information provision, information literacy, and the design of a needs-oriented place for learning, working, and encounters, the campus library contributes to the study, teaching, and research daily life of the Department of Life Sciences and Facility Management.
