Plant and Equipment Builder - Welding Supervision

• Responsibility for planning, execution, and monitoring of simple welded constructions according to DIN EN ISO 14731.
• Checking technical feasibility and accompanying the manufacturing process.
• Qualification and verification of welders and operators.
• Ensuring the functionality of equipment, facilities, and occupational safety.
• Participation in production planning considering quality and efficiency.
• Creation and control of welding procedures, work instructions, and welding drawings.
• Definition, procurement, and storage of suitable welding consumables.
• Monitoring the welding process as well as preparing reports and protocols.
• Documentation of non-conformities and implementation of corrective measures.
• Ensuring traceability of welded components.
• Support for design, production planning, sales, and purchasing in welding-related questions.
• Active participation in continuous improvement processes (CIP).

• Completed technical training in metalworking (equipment builder, polymechanic, or similar).
• Additional qualification as welding technician (WT) preferred, at least welding specialist (WS).
• Experience in welding rail vehicles according to EN 15085 is an advantage; knowledge in aluminum and sheet metal production desirable.
• Confident handling of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Fluent German skills; English skills are an advantage.
