We are looking for a young, open-minded person with a computer science education and a strong interest in the field of network and network security. Our customers, mainly from the Bern area, should be technically advised and supported by you. In addition to regular project work, you will also take care of faults and support, learning something new every day. As a service provider, you will get to know and master many different IT environments and their challenges. This is something that hardly any internal IT department can offer you. Furthermore, you regularly attend training courses in the area of our offerings and thus expand your knowledge base.

Your area of responsibility

• Installation, planning, configuration and maintenance of complex data networks (including wireless environments, switching, routing, firewall, NAC, monitoring)
• Operation and support of customer networks
• Troubleshooting and fault rectification at customers
• Documentation and concept work
• Administration of provider connections
• Laboratory work to test new hardware/features or for your own further education
• Work location Bern with many external assignments regionally and nationally

Our requirements

• Completed technical training in the field of computer science
• Flexibility in work environment and working hours (assignments outside regular working hours are possible)
• Driving licence category B
• Excellent German skills in spoken and written form
• Very good English skills in spoken and written form
• Customer-oriented thinking and acting
• Further training or certifications in the field of network and/or IT security
• Experience with products from manufacturers Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise, HPE Aruba, Fortinet or others
• Optional: Experience with network automation and orchestration (Python, Ansible, Puppet, etc.)
