KLK Kolb, with around 480 employees, is one of Europe’s leading alkoxylators and offers a wide range of surfactants, as well as other chemical specialties, paper process chemicals, and customer-specific productions for various industrial sectors. KLK Kolb is part of the global KLK OLEO Group. We distribute our products worldwide and currently produce at three locations in the heart of Europe (Hedingen/CH, Moerdijk/NL, and Delden/NL).

Due to a succession arrangement, we are looking for a

Coordinator Customer Service (100%)

In this versatile role, you are the “first point of contact”. You are responsible for order processing, responding to customer enquiries, and ensuring "on time" deliveries, maintaining daily contact with major customers, sales, freight forwarders, and our production sites. For this position, we are seeking a customer-oriented, highly organised individual who sees customers as partners and pursues the vision of “Customer Service Excellence”.

Your tasks

• Worldwide customer support in the internal sales department in close & proactive collaboration with various departments in multiple languages (e.g. German, English, French)
• Handling of freight forwarders
• Processing customer orders using SAP (SD module) including all order-related follow-up processes
• Creation and verification of master data, among others, using an established process
• Handling complaints in close cooperation with internal departments
• Deputising for colleagues, including in the area of additional costs

Your profile

• Commercial basic training or equivalent education
• Experience in a comparable position in a manufacturing company
• Export knowledge is a great advantage
• Fluent German and very good English skills; French and Italian are advantageous
• Good general IT skills and experience with SAP R/3 or similar ERP systems
• Proactive, flexible, independent, and humorous personality with quick comprehension, strong team spirit, and a positive mindset
• Organisational talent
• No chemical knowledge required
