About the job
As an ICT System Specialist, you ensure the stable operation of the entire IT infrastructure. This includes, among other things, the following core tasks
- Ensuring the entire operation of the IT system and application landscape with around 350 clients and about 120 servers
- Ensuring IT security / cybersecurity
- Planning and execution of cloud migrations
- Independent receipt and processing of support requests in 2nd level support
- Further development, continuous optimization, and automation of existing systems and applications
- Monitoring, coordination, and support of interfaces between different systems
- Administration and management of the entire IT infrastructure including monitoring, security, and backup
- Planning and implementation of IT projects
You have completed training in computer science and bring proven experience in IT infrastructure and IT support. You are motivated and enthusiastic about actively shaping our cloud migrations.
- Completed computer science apprenticeship in platform development EFZ or comparable training with relevant further education
- Several years of professional experience in the IT environment as well as experience in support
- Solid expertise in cloud, network infrastructure, virtualization, and system environments such as Microsoft, Windows, and Linux
- Independent, structured, solution-oriented, and cooperative working style with high resilience
- Strong communication skills and confident handling of different stakeholders
- Good English skills and willingness for on-call duty
