About the job
To complement our team, we are looking for a Medical Device Technologist EFZ or Technical Sterilisation Assistant for our AEMP (Medical Device Reprocessing Unit) immediately or by arrangement.
The Merian Iselin Clinic is a state-of-the-art private clinic with a public service mandate in Basel. Our focus areas are orthopaedics, surgery, and urology. With us, you will find meaningful work in a family-like environment where people are at the centre.
Your main tasks
- Decontamination, cleaning, sterilisation, and provision of surgical instruments and accessories according to recognised quality standards
- Inspection and packaging of various instrument systems
- Operation of sterilisation equipment
- Electronic documentation, compilation, and release of sterilisation batches
Your profile
- Completed training as Medical Device Technologist EFZ or Technical Sterilisation Assistant
- Manual dexterity
- Ability to think in a connected way
- IT user skills advantageous, instrument documentation system (Instacount)
- Resilience and ability to maintain overview and calm even in hectic situations
- Independent and reliable working style
- Willingness to take responsibility
- Willingness to work irregular hours and be on call at weekends and public holidays
- Customer-oriented attitude
- Team player
